RBCPA INTERLEAGUE

WHAT IS THE INTERLEAGUE?

The Interleague is an EPA event where players step up from local team level to represent their league against the other affiliated leagues within their counties borders. For example, the Maidenhead League plays against teams representing Renegade (Slough & Districts), Hayes & Uxbridge, Bracknell and Ascot, to name but a few. The Interleague is played in all the EPA affiliated counties and the winners of the Interleague KO Cup and League competition in Berkshire, progress to the national finals held at Yarmouth each year.

The Maidenhead Pool league currently has three Interleague teams competing.

WHY JOIN THE TEAM?

The Interleague is a stepping stone between league level and Intercounty level. It’s a great opportunity to test and develop your pool skills whether you want to play at county level or not.

WHAT’S THE FORMAT?

The team is made up of 9 players and played over 18 frames. We play our matches on a Sunday afternoon on a home and away basis. The matches usually take about 2 hours and the matches are played on two tables. This year the MPL entered one team, but if we have sufficient interest we can add more.
